The roofless and floorless remains of an 18c three storey tower in the early
On high ground north of St Twynells Church - Castlemartin Peninsular ,
It once straddled a drive at the entrance to the grounds of the Orielton Estate .
The great country house of the Owen family is now now a field study centre.
Derelict by the mid 19c it was described as a banqueting tower at this time.
The ground floor, with cambered carriage arches, is roughcast. The upper storeys are of red
brick, with some traces of render, with Baths stone dressings. There are remains of corner
fireplaces and internal plasterwork. A ruin of an ornate cottage is nearby.
