A Life-size sculpture of a fisherman leaning to one side pulling a net with both hands. Wearing waterproofs, boots and sou'wester. His head is bowed as if pulling a great
weight against the wind.
The statue was the work of Sculptor Bryan Hackett and unveiled at a
dedication ceremony on September 27th 1992.
