Distance - short 1.5 miles , but longer if the cliff edge is followed .

The route from Broad Haven to St Govans / Stack Rocks ( Green Bridge Of Wales ), falls within the Militarys - Castlemartin Range East.
It is open on Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday's.
Possibly at other times , (e.g - weekday evenings after 5pm , during school holidays , especially in August).

And can be open , even when St Govan's to Stack rocks is still closed !
Sentry posts are manned when the path is closed.

If closed , a long diversion awaits. The coastal route starts again at Freshwater West .
Broad Havens golden beach / sand dunes is a popular spot with easy access .
A popular location for surfers / with spectacular Winter waves .
The path passes Star Rock , close to the beach , and Church Rock with its intriguing profile in the bay .
Then New Quay / a narrow inlet / a natural harbour / with a fine small beach at low tide .
Around St Govan's Head / the most southerly point on the pembrokeshire Coast / with its prominent look out post / the Bristol Channel gives way to the Celtic Sea - part of the Atlantic Ocean .
5 military bunkers are passed / with tram rails , for mobile targets , visible in places
A fine coastline leads to St Govan's Chapel (13C ) , at the bottom of a ravine.
Manx Shearwaters - the Seabirds with nocturnal habits - may be glimpsed / during the breeding season (may - sept) / near St Govan's Head and the coastal path to the west / thousands , flying low over the sea , in the evening and early morning , as they move between their feeding areas and nesting sites on Skomer / Skokholm Islands .
Car Parks - Broad Haven (NT) , St Govan's Head.
Bus - "Coastal Cruiser"- Visits most major car parks as far as West Angle (see links page).
